Delete Your Ragebot Account
Effective and last updated: March 23, 2026
Important: Deleting your Ragebot account deletes the app-owned account data linked to that signed-in user. It does not automatically cancel an active Apple App Store or Google Play subscription. If you have Pro, cancel the store subscription separately in your store settings if you do not want it to renew.
1. Delete in the App
You can delete your account directly in the app:
Settings -> Delete Account
The app asks you to confirm the deletion before it is carried out. Once confirmed, Ragebot deletes the app account and the app-owned data linked to it, subject to the retention and exceptions described below.
2. What Gets Deleted
Account deletion is intended to remove the app-owned data linked to that account, including:
- the Ragebot account and related session or sign-in records for the signed-in account;
- the app-owned user record and subscription-access state stored for the account;
- generated-output reports submitted from the result action;
- generation usage, lock state, and similar app-owned runtime records linked to the account;
- billing-sync or audit records linked to the account where they are part of the app-owned database; and
- local app storage and secure auth storage on the device, but only when deletion is initiated in the app and the client cleanup flow can run on that device.
3. Generated Output Reports
Ragebot does not keep a normal server-side history of every successful generation in its own Convex database. If you report a generated output, Ragebot stores that report record, including the reported output and limited report-time context such as whether an image was used, for up to 90 days so it can be reviewed. Ragebot does not store the original uploaded image file or the original input text in that report record.
A generation request still passes through backend infrastructure and external AI providers to produce the output. Those providers may have their own transient processing or retention under their own systems and policies.
4. What May Remain Temporarily or Separately
- App-store subscription records, billing records, renewals, refunds, or receipts handled by Apple App Store or Google Play.
- RevenueCat, app-store, hosting, AI provider, or email-provider records that those providers keep under their own legal obligations or policies.
- Short-lived technical or infrastructure traces that are still being rotated out or cleaned up.
Deletion makes your Ragebot account inaccessible right away. Third-party or infrastructure records outside the app-owned database may still remain temporarily or separately under those providers' own systems and policies.
If you request deletion by email instead of through the app, Ragebot can delete the server-side account data linked to that account, but it cannot directly wipe local app storage from a device you still control.
5. If You Cannot Access the App
Email ragebot@googlegroups.com and use a subject like Delete my Ragebot account.
Please include whatever helps identify the account:
- your Ragebot user ID, if available;
- your platform (iOS or Android);
- approximate date of use; and
- for paid issues, your store receipt or order ID.
