Ragebot - Terms of Use

1. Provider and Scope

Ragebot is provided by JonschDev ("I", "me", "my"). These Terms govern your access to and use of the Ragebot app and the hosted legal pages linked from it.

These Terms describe the current contractual rules for using Ragebot.

2. What the Service Is

Ragebot is an AI-assisted entertainment tool that creates short satirical or provocative text from user-provided text and, for paid users, optional image input.

• Outputs are AI-generated and may be inaccurate, fictional, sarcastic, incomplete, repetitive, or unsuitable.
• Outputs are not factual reporting, legal advice, medical advice, financial advice, or professional advice of any kind.
• Paid access currently consists of a weekly auto-renewing Pro subscription.

3. Eligibility

You must be legally allowed to use the app under the law that applies to you. Ragebot is not intended for children under 16.

4. Account and Access

Ragebot uses supported social sign-in and app session handling. Access therefore depends on your sign-in provider account, session state, and the app's backend account record.

• You are responsible for keeping your device and any access to your sign-in provider account reasonably secure.
• If you sign in with different provider accounts, Ragebot may treat them as separate app accounts with separate account state, free usage, and purchase restoration paths.
• If you sign out, delete the app, clear device storage, or delete your Ragebot account, some access or app data may be lost.
• I do not promise permanent availability of any session, output, or account state.

5. Your Content and AI Output

You keep the rights you already have in the text or images you submit.

You grant me and the service providers involved in delivering Ragebot a limited, non-exclusive right to process your input only as needed to operate, secure, support, and enforce the service.

• You must have the necessary rights and permissions for anything you upload or submit.
• You must not submit confidential, sensitive, or high-risk personal data that you do not want disclosed to external providers.
• I do not guarantee that any output is unique, protectable, available, lawful to publish in your context, or non-infringing.
• Ragebot does not keep a normal server-side history of every successful generation in its own database. If you report an output, Ragebot may store the reported output together with limited technical report context for up to 90 days so that report can be reviewed. That report record does not include the original input text or uploaded image file. If you want to keep an output for your own use, copy it before leaving the screen.
• If you share or publish an output elsewhere, you are solely responsible for reviewing it first and making sure that use is lawful.

6. Prohibited Uses

You may not use Ragebot to:

• break the law or violate third-party rights;
• harass, threaten, stalk, dox, defame, or unlawfully target real people or protected groups;
• impersonate another person or falsely present AI output as verified fact;
• upload content you have no right to use;
• circumvent technical limits, security measures, or purchase flows;
• use bots, scraping, bulk automation, or other abusive traffic against the service; or
• use the service in a way that breaches app-store rules, provider policies, or applicable law.

7. Paid Features, Cancellation, and Refunds

• Ragebot currently offers one weekly auto-renewing Pro subscription. The price shown in the relevant app store or paywall at checkout controls.
• Billing, renewal, cancellation, refunds, taxes, and store account handling are processed by Apple App Store or Google Play, not directly by me.
• You can manage or cancel the subscription in your Apple App Store or Google Play account settings.
• Except where mandatory law or the relevant app-store rules require otherwise, paid fees are non-refundable once the relevant paid period starts.
• Refunds, chargebacks, cancellations, reversals, or store-side entitlement changes can lead to loss of paid access.
• Deleting your Ragebot account does not automatically cancel an App Store or Google Play subscription. Cancel the subscription separately in the store settings if you no longer want it to renew.

8. Availability, Limits, and Changes

Ragebot is a small, evolving app. I may change or pause the app, the AI provider, the model, the pricing, the limits, the purchase flow, or any feature at any time, especially for safety, legal, anti-abuse, provider, or operational reasons.

• Use may be subject to rate limits, concurrency limits, fair-use controls, or other technical restrictions.
• Some features may be temporarily unavailable if infrastructure or third-party services fail or are paused.
• There is no service level agreement and no guaranteed response time for support.

9. Third-Party Services

Ragebot depends on third parties including backend and authentication providers, AI providers, RevenueCat, Apple App Store, Google Play, Expo/EAS, and Vercel.

Those third parties may have their own terms, privacy notices, billing rules, content rules, and technical limitations, and they may affect how Ragebot works.

10. No Warranty

Ragebot is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis.

• I do not promise that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or always available.
• I do not promise that any output will be accurate, lawful, non-offensive, suitable for your purpose, or safe to publish.
• I do not promise that prompts, images, or outputs will stay available for later retrieval.

11. Liability

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited under applicable law, especially liability for intent, gross negligence, injury to life, body, or health, fraudulent concealment, an expressly assumed guarantee, or liability under the German Product Liability Act.

For slightly negligent breaches of essential contractual duties (Kardinalpflichten), liability is limited to the foreseeable damage typical for this type of contract.

Otherwise, liability for slight negligence is excluded to the extent permitted by law. Subject to the mandatory carve-outs above, I am not liable for indirect or consequential damages, lost profits, lost savings, lost unsaved data or outputs, or losses caused by your use or publication of user content or AI output, third-party providers, app stores, or network outages.

12. Consumer Rights, Governing Law, and Dispute Resolution

Nothing in these Terms removes mandatory consumer rights you have under applicable law.

These Terms are governed by German law, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods (CISG). If you are a consumer and mandatory law in your country of habitual residence gives you stronger protection, that protection remains unaffected.

I am not obliged and am not willing to participate in dispute resolution proceedings before a consumer arbitration board.

13. Suspension, Termination, and Deletion

You can stop using Ragebot at any time and can delete your account in the app.

I may suspend or terminate access if reasonably necessary for legal compliance, provider requirements, abuse prevention, security, or serious breaches of these Terms.

Account deletion removes app-owned data as described on the delete-account page, subject to separate legal or processor retention. Again: deletion of the Ragebot account does not by itself cancel a store subscription.

14. Changes to These Terms

I may update these Terms if the app, providers, or legal requirements change. The version published at this URL is the current version. If you do not agree to a later version, stop using the service.
